COVID-19 Protocols

Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg will operate under the “Restart St. Pete” guidelines for COVID-19 after receiving approval from government officials for limited spectator attendance. With the guidance of public health officials, and local, state and federal authorities, Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg will observe safe social distancing and provide enhanced hygiene and safety precautions for all fans in attendance at the event.

All fans must read and adhere to the following procedures below before your arrival at the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. Please self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19 and conduct a self-assessment before your arrival at the track.

Anyone experiencing symptoms must stay home. According to the CDC, COVID-19 symptoms include fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and diarrhea.

Please note masks or facial coverings are REQUIRED to be worn at all times, whether indoors or outside, when at the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. “No Mask, No Entry.” Spectators who do not have a mask or facial covering will be issued a mask at the entry gates.

What to Expect at the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg

Protocols are as of October 19, 2020 and are subject to change based on guidance of public health officials and local, state and federal authorities.  Please check back often for updates.
Advance Ticket Sales Only
  • A very limited number of tickets remain available online.
  • Spectators must purchase advance tickets online, to reduce contact, time spent at the gate and to ensure entry when limited capacity is enforced. No tickets will be available for purchase at the gate.
  • All tickets purchased in October will be emailed as Print-At-Home tickets only.
  • General Admission tickets purchased for the rescheduled March 13-15, 2020 event that have not been deferred (during the period offered from May 15 - June 15, 2020), remain valid for the respective day(s) at the October 23-25, 2020 event. Please also see the FAQ page HERE.  
  • Reserved Grandstand Seat tickets purchased for the March 13-15, 2020 event that have not been deferred (during the period offered from May 15 - June 15, 2020), have been reissued to accommodate social distancing guidelines COVID-19 and have been delivered electronically to the purchaser email on file.  Please also see the FAQ page HERE.
