Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg now accepting applications for media credentials

January 26, 2012 (St. Petersburg, FL) – Media representatives can now apply for media credentials to the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, taking place March 23-25. Applications can be submitted by filling out an online application form via the “Media” page at www.gpstpete.com. The deadline for applications is Friday, March 2.

Due to space limitations, priority will be given to applicants from media with wide-spread distribution/audience and confirmed assignments. A comprehensive online newsroom is available through the “Media” tab at www.gpstpete.com, accessible to all and will be the central repository for event-related information leading up to, during and after the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg.

Note: the Credential Center for the Honda Grand Prix will be moving in 2012 to the Hilton St. Petersburg at 333 1st Street South (accessible from 2nd Street South and 4th Avenue South during race weekend).

The Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg takes place March 23-25, 2012 and is run on a 1.8-mile, 14-turn waterfront circuit that includes a combination of adjacent downtown streets circling Pioneer Park, the Progress Energy Center for the Arts, the Salvador Dali Museum and extending onto the runways at Albert Whitted Airport, which overlook the Tampa Bay and picturesque St. Petersburg Harbor and Marina.
