The IZOD IndyCar Series is the premier open-wheel racing series in the United States and Canada. The series features a diverse field of stars with participants from the United States, Canada, Japan, England, Scotland, The Netherlands, Venezuela, Australia, and New Zealand.

Since its inception in 2002, the Firestone Indy Lights has been the premier ladder series for drivers and teams striving to compete in the IZOD IndyCar Series and the Indianapolis 500. More than 20 drivers who have competed in the Firestone Indy Lights have raced in the IZOD IndyCar Series.

The Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear celebrates its 20th anniversary season in 2010 and is part of the MAZDASPEED Motorsports Driver Development Ladder and is the second step in the Road to Indy. Series graduates include IZOD IndyCar Series stars Graham Rahal, Marco Andretti and Raphael Matos.

The Cooper Tires presents USF2000 National Championship powered by Mazda is part of the MAZDASPEED Motorsports Driver Development Ladder and is the first step in the Road to Indy.

The 2010 ACURA Sports Car Challenge of St. Petersburg features North America's top production car-based championship, the SCCA Pro Racing World Challenge Championships. World Challenge is separated into three classes, GT, GTS & Touring Car.

Allowed body styles in this class include: coupes, hatchbacks, wagons, & sedans.  Manufacturers may include: Porsche, Dodge, Ford, Lamborghini, Chevrolet, Aston Martin, Mercedes-Benz, & Cadillac.

World Challenge Touring Car Championships
Allowed body styles in this class include: coupes, sedans, & convertible.  Manufacturers may include: Acura, Honda, Mazda, BMW, Volkswagen, Scion, Ford, Subaru, & Dodge.
