2006 INDIANAPOLIS 500
MEDIA CREDENTIAL PROCEDURES
All requests must be postmarked by April 21, 2006 Any requests after that date will not be accepted.
To apply, assigning editors or general managers must write a request on company letterhead with the following information:
1) Include a brief summary of coverage intentions.
2) List individuals for whom accreditation is requested along with the following information:
-- Full name(s)
-- Social Security Number(s), or passport number(s) for international media representative(s)
-- Birth date
-- Responsibility of each person (i.e. photographer, writer, videographer, etc.)
-- Specify date(s) attending
-- E-mail address for assigning editor or general manager
-- Note: No one under age 18 will be granted media credentials.
3) Include samples of last year's Indianapolis 500 coverage. If you were not credentialed for the 2005 Indianapolis 500, please include recent motorsports coverage.
4) For authenticity purposes, faxed and e-mailed requests are not acceptable.

Applying in no way guarantees a media outlet will receive credentials. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway reserves the right of final approval of credential applications.
Assigning editors or general managers will receive notification once the request has been processed.
