RACE-DAY RESERVED-SEAT TICKETS AVAILABLE MONDAY
FOR 2007 HONDA GRAND PRIX OF ST. PETERSBURG
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (Jan. 11, 2007) - Race-day tickets for reserved seats for the 2007 Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg will be available for purchase Monday, Jan. 15. All ticket prices will remain unchanged from 2006 for the 2007 event.
Upper-level reserved seats for the third-annual event can be purchased for $80, while lowerlevel seats will be $60. Junior reserved race-day tickets for children 12 and under start at $35.
The third annual event will be held March 30 through April 1 with race action to be held again on a temporary street circuit in downtown St. Petersburg. In addition to the IndyCar Series race on April 1, the event will also feature the first American Le Mans Series race in St. Petersburg on Saturday, March 31, giving fans an additional world-class race event to enjoy.
In addition to individual ticket sales, the Honda Grand Prix is offering a free IndyCar Series paddock pass to groups purchasing 10 or more three-day reserved tickets. Group purchases are only available through the HGPSP box office. Corporate hospitality and sponsorship packages are also still available.
The 2006 Honda Grand Prix race weekend featured more than 20 hours of on-track racing activity over three days.
The 2007 Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg will be the second race on the Indy Racing League schedule. The weekend will feature a three-hour American Le Mans Series event on Saturday, IRL Pro Series events on both Saturday and Sunday, and the IndyCar Series race on Sunday, April 1. Ticket-holders will also be treated to a live music event following Sunday's Honda Indy St. Pete, which will be presented by XM Satellite Radio.
