Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg Now Accepting Applications for Media Credentials

ST. PETERSBURG, FL, January 8, 2013 – Media representatives can now apply for credentials to the 2013 Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, taking place March 22-24. The application form is available online at the “Media” page at gpstpete.com. The deadline for applications to be submitted online is Friday, March 1 at 5 p.m. ET.

Due to space limitations, priority will be given to applicants from media organizations with confirmed assignments and wide-spread distribution/audience. An online newsroom is available through the event’s website, accessible to all, and will be the central repository for event-related information leading up to, during and after the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg.

Note: the Credential Center for the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg will be located at the Hilton St. Petersburg at 333 1st Street South (accessible from 2nd Street South and 4th Avenue South during race weekend).

The Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg takes place March 22-24, 2013 and is run on a 1.8-mile, 14-turn waterfront circuit that includes a combination of adjacent downtown streets circling Pioneer Park, the Progress Energy Center for the Arts, the Salvador Dali Museum and extending onto the runways at Albert Whitted Airport, which overlook the Tampa Bay and picturesque St. Petersburg Harbor and Marina.
