The IZOD IndyCar Series is the premier open-wheel racing series in the United States and Canada, competing on a challenging combination of super-speedways, short ovals, scenic road courses and temporary street circuits. The series features a diverse field of stars with participants from the United States, Canada, Japan, England, Scotland, The Netherlands, Venezuela, Australia and New Zealand.

Firestone Indy Lights has been the premier ladder series for drivers and teams striving to compete in the IZOD IndyCar Series and the Indianapolis 500. More than 20 drivers who have competed in the Firestone Indy Lights have raced in the IZOD IndyCar Series.

The Pro Mazda Championship presented by Cooper Tires is part of the MAZDASPEED Motorsports Driver Development Ladder and is the second step in the Road to Indy. Series graduates include IZOD IndyCar Series stars Graham Rahal and Marco Andretti.

The Cooper Tires presents USF2000 National Championship powered by Mazda is part of the MAZDASPEED Motorsports Driver Development Ladder and is the first step in the Road to Indy.

Pirelli World Challenge GT
The high-horsepower Pirelli World Challenge GT Class (cars are identified by the black windshield banner) has always provided the ground shaking rumble and thunder in the series.  The class features Cadillac CTS-Vs, Volvo S60Rs, Chevrolet Corvettes, Nissan GT-Rs, Audi R8s, Porsche GT-3s, and Mercedes-Benz SLS.

Pirelli World Challenge GTS
The GTS class (cars are identified by the grey windshield banner) pits Japanese, Korean and German engineering against good old American brawn.  The class features teams running the Acura TSX, Kia Optima, Posche Cayman, Chevrolet Camaro, Scion FR-S, and the Nissan 370Z.
